Hey, friends,

Last week I crossed 50,000 followers on LinkedIn.

Wild.

To celebrate, I’m offering 50% off my Spark Your LinkedIn Strategy Masterclass—but only for the next 24 hours.

This is the first time I’ve ever offered a discount. And I won’t be doing it again. [This class sells out 100% of the time without a discount.]

If you want in, just reply to this email within 24 hours and I’ll send you the exclusive 50% off code.

Now, let’s talk about how I actually got here ...

“It’s not about the numbers.”

And ... it’s really not.

I sold at 3K followers.
That’s where I was when I started my third attempt at LinkedIn.

Yep—third.
I quit in 2021.
Quit again in 2022.
And finally cracked the code in 2023.

I’m still learning every day. But if you’re curious how I grew 47K followers—here are the 6 systems that finally worked:

1. Personal Brand System

  • I got clear on what made me different—and embraced it.

  • You already have a brand. Own it. Heck, exploit it.

2. Profile System

  • Banner, headline, and links work together.

  • A strong Featured section is non-negotiable.

  • One consistent CTA throughout.

3. Content System

  • I batch-write and schedule posts.

  • Best-performing content falls into 5 buckets:
Past career | Personal life | Current career | Brand POV | LinkedIn reflections

4. Post System

  • Each post needs 6 assets:
Hook, Body, Summary, Call to Engagement, Call to Action, Attachment.

5. Engagement System

  • Comment strategy = longevity.

  • I made A/B/C lists:
    A = every day
    B = every other day
C = outbound comments to ideal clients

6. Scale System

  • DMs changed the game.
    Profile viewers → DMed
    Engagers → DMed
    2nd/3rd degree connects → DMed

I know—it sounds like a lot.
But systems are designed to make the hard things simple.

LinkedIn lives on my calendar now.
It’s part of my job—because it doubled my income.

I'm thankful for that.
But more thankful that you read even a single word I write.

Here’s to 50K+.
And helping more people win.

Want in on the masterclass?
Reply to this email in the next 24 hours and I’ll send you a 50% off code to celebrate this milestone with me.

Let’s make your next 50K count.

10 lessons on writing...
I've been a writing for aliving for almost 20 years. Here are 10 things I've learned: 1. To be a "writer," the qualifications are simple: You write. 2. Writing well is hard. Anyone who says otherwise hasn't been writing long enough. 3. You don't have to write linearly. If you know where you want to land, start with the last sentence ("punchline" or "reveal") and build around it. 4. Writing is t...
1 truth to accept about LinkedIn™...
One truth we should all accept about LinkedIn: You can post daily. You can post helpfully. You can post strategically. You can post aesthetically. You can follow all the LinkedIn-lebrities and do every single thing they tell you to do. ... and still not become "famous" on LinkedIn. It's not going to happen for everyone. Cold, hard facts. But also ... facts that may set you free a little? Becaus...
