My Golden Hour Routine:
When your post goes live, the next 60 minutes are special.
That's when your engagement [commenting + responding to comments] gives your post the most algorithmic value.
The more you comment during that time, the higher your algorithmic value is.
The higher your algorithmic value, the more people your post gets pushed out to.
If you can't do an hour?
Do 30 minutes.
If you can't do 30 minutes?
Do 15 minutes.
If you can't do 15 minutes?
LinkedIn may not be the place for you.
My Minute-by-Minute Golden Hour Routine
8:00am: Post Goes Live
➜ I leave 1 relevant comment on my own post. Just 1. I find more than 1 obnoxious, but to each their own.
8:00am–8:15am: (List A)
➜ I have a list of people I comment on daily. These are friends + clients.
➜ I click down the list, making it quick + efficient.
8:15am–8:30am: Response Time
➜ I respond to all comments on my own post.
➜ Then, I reciprocate those comments up to 10 people.
8:30am–8:45am: Outbound Comments (List B)
➜ I leave comments on people's pages who have never been to my profile.
➜ I leave comments on people's pages I want to notice me.
8:45am–8:55am: Profile Viewer Connections
➜ I send Connection Requests to Profile Viewers with a personalized note.
➜ If I am particularly interested in getting that person's attention, I'll also leave a comment.
8:55am–9:00[9:15ish]:
➜ Respond to more comments on my post.
Then I click the X until later in the day.
You gotta click the X to maintain sanity.
I hop back on for a Silver 30 later …
Which is an entirely different post.

I don't want to be another newsletter in your inbox. I want to be an actionletter. In every edition, I'll include a "Go-and-Do" [below] to help you take an action step TODAY that improves your LinkedIn™ perormance, your business, or even your life.
The Go-and-Do:
Pick one part of this Golden Hour routine and commit to doing it for your next three posts.
It could be:
-
Creating your own List A of daily profiles.
-
Testing one comment on your own post right at launch.
-
Sending 3 personalized connection requests to profile viewers.
The key is consistency. Don’t try to do it all at once—just pick a piece, run the play, and watch how your engagement changes.
